Jenny wins TV Talent Show

Jenny-Lynn won the CBBC TV Talent Show - 'Steps To The Stars', performing a song written by her dad - 'Angel With A Dirty Face'. At 12, she was one of the youngest performers and the only one from the South West of England.

Jenny-Lynn was presented with the winner's trophy on BBC TV's 'Live and Kicking' by pop idols, 'H' and Claire from Steps and she gave a live performance of her song, which was described as "amazing" by presenter Steve Watson. Pop legend 'Sting' also predicted that Jenny-Lynn was a definite "star of the future".

Since winning 'Steps to the Stars', Jenny has appeared at several impressive venues, including; The Millennium Dome, Theme Parks, Butlins, Theatres, Shopping Malls. She has also done several Radio and Television interviews.

Jenny-Lynn recorded and launched her debut Album - 'Angel With A Dirty Face' in October 2000. The album features ballads, pop and country music and she performs several original songs written by her dad. Also included is a song she co-wrote with her dad called 'Scoot Your Boot'. Jenny also choreographed a dance to the song.

Jenny-Lynn is very proud to have had tuition from a dear friend and brilliant Tenor - John Easton, winner of Granada Television's 'This Is My Moment' (presented by ex Manchester United and England footballer Ian Wright). Together they performed a wonderful version of 'The Prayer', a duet originally recorded by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Jenny and John's version is also featured on Jenny-Lynn's debut album - check out the links above to hear a free sample.

Although Jenny's voice lends itself so well to Country, she also enjoys singing in many other genres of music, including; Pop, Rock and Soul. Jenny's whole family are behind her all the way, each contributing their own particular skill. Jenny has co-written a number of songs with her dad and they find they have a creative bond, which comes to the fore when they are working together in her dad's studio.
